FREE Training in Wales
I
very much welcome (GTP) in its support of Welsh Assembly Government
policies and initiatives - and of course the overarching Assembly
commitment to sustainable development and global citizenship.

Funding is available
to support groups of young people in Wales to take part in the Global
Teenager Project to explore the progress we are making towards achieving
the Millennium Development Goals.

Groups can be from schools, colleges, WBLP or
Youth Groups. The age range is 11 to 19. The group must be enrolling
for a circle that links to the Millennium Development Goals.
This funding has been supplied
by DfID. Support will include:
- FREE Teacher training session and guide.
For Autumn term 2009 - South Wales -September 9th in
Cardiff
North Wales - by arrangement
- FREE Workshop session for
learners (limited number available) Please book early
- Scheme of work and lesson plans
including learning materials
- Mapping to Essential Skills Wales,
Wales, Europe and the World and ESDGC requirements
- Ongoing support throughout the
Learning Circle
- Publication of reports and
presentations produced
