Projects

Projects are at the heart of iEARN.  Over 2 000 000 young people from more than 150 counties take part in  iEARN projects each year.

Projects provide a focus for communication and sharing.  The develop deeper understanding and contribute to a greater awareness of the global dimension in which we live.  Projects do not replace school to school partnerships - they enhance and strengthen them by providing a focus for discussion and a shared goal.

You will find projects that can be completed in one double period and others that take a year.  There are projects for 5 year olds and projects to challenge and stretch highly gifted 18 year olds.  What ever the age group, curriculum focus or interest group you will fin a project to suit your learners.

We have selected a few projects to feature - generally they are projects that are ideal for a first go at international project work.  If you are feeling adventurous then explore the complete list of projects in the Handbook.

iEARN UK sponsors a number of international projects that are designed to meet UK curriculum needs as well as the Global Dimension, Social Cohesion and ESDGC guidelines.

Which ever project you choose we are here to help.  Whatever the question we are just a click away - Contact Us
